§ 8-173. Monitoring of subscribers.

Monitoring of the viewing patterns, selections or return path transmissions of any subscriber shall be prohibited without the written permission of the subscriber. Such written permission shall be contained in a separate document. Such written permission may be revoked at any time by the subscriber. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the grantee may conduct systemwide or individually addressed sweeps for the purpose of verifying system integrity, controlling return-path transmission or billing for pay services.
