§ 8-170. Performance evaluation sessions.

  • (a)

    Cable communications is a new and rapidly changing field and many regulatory, technical, financial, marketing and legal changes are anticipated. To assure an advanced and modern system for the county, each grantee shall participate in performance evaluation sessions relating to service rate structures, free or discontinued service, application of new technologies, system performances, services provided, programming offered, customer complaints, subscriber privacy, two-way channels, proposed amendments to this chapter or the franchise ordinance, underground progress, and judicial and FCC rulings. Other subjects may be added by resolution of the board of commissioners.

    (b)

    The county and each grantee shall hold a performance evaluation session within thirty (30) days after the third, sixth, ninth and twelfth anniversary dates of the adoption of the franchise ordinance.

    (c)

    Special performance evaluation sessions may be held at any time set by resolution of the board of commissioners.

    (d)

    All performance evaluation sessions shall be open to the public and notice thereof shall be made in accordance with section 8-15.
