§ 6-104. Removal of disabled aircraft.

  • (a)

    All disabled aircraft and parts thereof on the airport shall be promptly removed from the air operations areas by the owners. Unairworthy aircraft, wrecks, "junkers" or parts thereof shall not be parked or stored anywhere on the airport or leased sites except in a hangar unless awaiting bona fide scheduled repairs or unless express authority is granted by the county.

    (b)

    If any person refuses to move an aircraft as directed by the county, the aircraft may be towed away by the county at the owner's or operator's expense, and without liability for damage which may result in the course of or after this moving. This subsection shall apply to removal of a wrecked or damaged aircraft and its parts.
