§ 6-81. Aircraft equipment rules.

  • No aircraft shall be operated on the airport unless it is equipped with tail or nose wheel and wheel brakes, except with the permission of the control tower operator. When any pilot of an aircraft that is not equipped with adequate brakes receives permission from the control tower operator to taxi the aircraft, the pilot shall not taxi the aircraft near buildings or parked aircraft unless an attendant is at the wing of the aircraft to assist the pilot; provided, that an aircraft with wings and tail higher than five (5) feet from the ground that does not have adequate brakes shall not be taxied on the airport, with or without the control tower operator's permission, but shall be towed if it is necessary to move the aircraft.
