§ 4-30. Temporary permits.

  • Any nonprofit civic organization may be issued a temporary alcoholic beverage permit for two (2) events annually for a period of one (1) day per event. Such a permit shall have the effect of a license issued pursuant to the provisions of this article and shall authorize sale by the drink of such alcoholic beverages as are specified in the permit. The nonprofit civic organization must make application and pay a fee in the amount established by action of the board of commissioners, a copy of which is on file with the clerk of the board of commissioners. Such civic organizations shall comply with all the general ordinances and the licensing and regulations for a consumption-on-the-premises establishment, with the exception of having a full-service kitchen requirement.
