§ 24-105. Duration.

(a)

The area herein designated as an enterprise zone shall remain in existence for ten (10) years from the first day of the calendar year immediately following its designation as an enterprise zone. Ad valorem tax exemptions available to a qualified business or service enterprise in the enterprise zone herein created shall remain in effect for the full ten-year schedule established in section 24-104(a) of this article, regardless of the whether the designated enterprise zone area changes or is terminated.

(b)

Any areas designated as an enterprise zone may be redesignated as an enterprise zone if the area continues to meet the criteria for an enterprise zone contained in this article.
