§ 16-48. Unauthorized ambulances at scenes of emergency.
(a)
It shall be unlawful for the owner, agent, representative or employee of any ambulance to go to any place where an emergency has occurred unless called there by a victim of the emergency, the victim's authorized representative, the police department or an observer of the emergency capable of being identified.
(b)
It shall be unlawful for the owner, agent, representative or employee of any ambulance to go to the place of an emergency by reason of information received from police department radio.
(c)
Any unauthorized or uncalled person appearing at the scene of an emergency to offer ambulance service shall be deemed a violator of this section.
