§ 15-394. Age of vehicles for hire, taxicabs and limousines.

(a)

As of December 31, 2004, no vehicle having a vehicle age greater than fifteen (15) years may be operated as a taxicab, vehicle for hire or limousine in the unincorporated area of the county. For the purposes of this section, the term vehicle age shall be the vehicle's model year.

(b)

As of December 31, 2006, no vehicle having a vehicle age greater than eight (8) years may be operated as a taxicab, vehicle for hire or limousine in the unincorporated area of the county. For the purposes of this section, the term vehicle age shall be the vehicle's model year.
