§ 15-354. Expiration; renewal; transfer.

  • (a)

    All licenses granted under this division shall expire on December 31 of each year.

    (b)

    Licensees who desire to renew their licenses shall file application with all applicable fees with the finance department on the form provided for renewal of the license for the following year. Applications for renewal must be filed before November 30 of each year or the applicant shall pay a late payment penalty in addition to an assessment of interest as specified by section 2-112. No renewal licenses shall be granted after January 1, but such application shall be treated as an initial application and the applicant shall be required to comply with all requirements for the granting of licenses as if no previous license had been held.

    (c)

    All licenses granted hereunder shall be for the full calendar year. License fees shall not be prorated and are nonrefundable.

    (d)

    No license shall be transferred without prior approval of the finance department.
