§ 14-429. Definitions of floodplain boundaries.

  • (a)

    Studied "A" zones, as identified in the flood insurance study, shall be used to establish base flood elevations whenever available.

    (b)

    For all streams with a drainage area of one hundred (100) acres or greater, the future-conditions flood elevations shall be provided by the floodplain coordinator. If future-conditions elevation data is not available from the floodplain coordinator, then it shall be determined by a registered professional engineer using a method approved by FEMA and the floodplain coordinator.
