§ 14-193. Temporary dead-end streets.

  • Temporary dead-end streets may be platted, if recommended by the planning director and development director and approved by the chief executive officer, where the proposed subdivision adjoins property not yet subdivided or property that may be redevelopment. A temporary dead end street shall end in a temporary turn-around. The right-of-way of any temporary dead end street shall be carried to the boundary of the properties being subdivided. Street signs shall be posted stating: "No Exit — temporary dead-end street."
