Be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, that all fees, commissions, and
all other compensation now allowed to the tax receiver and tax collector of DeKalb
County, Georgia, from both state, county, and special taxes shall be collected by
the tax commissioner and paid into the county depository of said county, and the same
shall be accounted for by the county depository thereof, the same as he accounts for
all other funds belonging to said county. And all such fees, commissions, and other
compensation so collected by the tax commissioner shall be paid into the treasury
of DeKalb County, except such fees and commissions collected from the state, which
shall be retained by him in the same manner as such fees and commissions are now retained
by the tax receiver and tax collector, as partial compensation for performing the
duties of the office of tax commissioner.
